2. What will the course content be?
That depends on your needs. Every course is different because it is designed for YOU only, and no two lessons are the same. Sometimes the student provides presentations, product literature or asks for help with skills such as telephoning. The student's level is assessed, and we agree a programme of lessons to practise grammar, functions and pronunciation needing practice.
3. Will I get homework?
Yes, if you want it! You will be given a copy of the lesson materials to use at home or help with homework. You will be directed towards on-line resources that can help your learning.
4. What are your qualifications?
Christine: Degree in English and German, Certificate in Education (Birmingham City University), CELTA Certificate in Teaching English to Adults, Diploma in Marketing (Chartered Institute of Marketing). Full member of the Society for Education and Training (the Post 16 Teaching Institute for England and Wales). Member of NEU (National Education Union.)
Associate tutors have extensive teaching or tutoring experience, degree or mother-tongue fluency and many have teaching qualifications.
5. How much does it cost?
As each course is designed is to meet the client's exact needs, this depends entirely on your requirements, number of students and location. As a guide, the price ranges from £30 per hour for young learners to £55 per hour for small groups at your organisation.
6. Are there cheaper teachers?
Yes, but they may not be experienced in school and college teaching or offer structured programmes of study- often they just offer a 'chat'.

8. How do I know it is safe for my child to learn with you? (Young Learner Courses)
I am registered with the Society of Education and Training (the post-16 professional teaching body for England and Wales.) I also have CRB (Criminal records Bureau) clearance to work with children and young people. I can provide you with other teachers' details who will verify my status.
9. What if I change my mind or am not satisfied with my lessons?
Guarantee: The first lesson is paid for, but there is no obligation at all to continue with the course in the unlikely event that you’re not happy. If you have paid for a full course, the balance of your payment will be returned to you.
10. How can I book and pay for my lessons?
Please contact first to arrange your lessons and check we have availability to help you. After that you can pay for your lessons by cash, cheque, Paypal or online transfer. Commercial organisations can be invoiced by arrangement.
